Jeri was born into a family of gamers and sci-fi nerds. Her parents are hardcore Trekkies who went to conventions, though they claim they never dressed up, and logged many hours playing such iconic games as Transylvania and Space Invaders. She inevitably followed in their footsteps, citing Star Trek: The Next Generation as her favorite Trek series, due in part to her old man crush on Patrick Stewart, and has been contacted by more than a few long lost friends on Facebook with the message: “Are you the Jeri Klein whose house I used to play Nintendo at for hours on end?”

Jeri loves puzzle games, platformers, and RPGs, and has a not so secret obsession with the Uncharted franchise. Her child-size hands make gaming a bit of a challenge, but she’s hoping that smaller controls will be available in the near future. Until then, she will just have to suffer a little, continue to do hand stretching exercises and live by the motto “no pain, no game.”
